Robe Gin
Local electrician and owner of Robe Holiday Park, Anthony, launched his distilling journey in 2020 with a crisp, dry-style gin—easily spotted by its bold red and white striped label. What started as a passion project has since grown to include a rich Coffee Liqueur, crafted in collaboration with Robe’s own Mahalia Coffee.
You’ll find the Robe Gin cellar door right at Robe Holiday Park—making it the perfect spot to unwind with a refreshing G&T after a day of exploring the coast. Robe Gin is also proudly stocked at local cellar doors, pubs, and restaurants across the region.

Salubrious Hour + Smoothies
Salubrious Hour began in 2017 when brother-sister duo Sarah and Billy went looking for a way to share their own hand-drawn art. What started as a small apparel label has grown into a much-loved Robe brand, with their main street shop now bringing together original designs, laid-back coastal apparel and plenty of local personality.
There’s more than clothing inside. Salubrious Smoothies has become part of the Salubrious Hour offering too, serving fruit smoothies and açai bowls from within the shop. Grab a smoothie or bowl, browse the latest collection and head out to make the most of the day in Robe. For a little piece of Robe to take home, it’s hard to go past one of their original tees or a much-loved Robe themed cap.

Humpalicious Camel Farm
Originally from South Australia’s remote APY Lands, Humpalicious Camel Farm is now home to one of the last remaining wild dromedary camel populations—right here in Robe!
Join a guided Solar Buggy Camel Safari and journey through the paddocks alongside their impressive herd, or choose the Morning Milking Tour for a more hands-on experience. Watch the camels being milked, hand-feed the adorable babies, sample fresh camel milk, and treat yourself to creamy camel milk gelato, milkshakes, and coffee.

Mahalia Coffee
It all started at the Wild Mulberry, the Robe café Mahalia Layzell ran with husband Paul in the late ’90s. It was here that Mahalia discovered a fascination with the craft of coffee, and by 2003, that passion had led the pair to establish their own roastery in Robe.
Today, Mahalia Coffee is enjoyed well beyond Robe, with its signature blends roasted locally and shipped across Australia. The smell of coffee roasting still drifts across town on roasting days.

Starling Flowers
Originally from England, Rebecca Starling followed love to South Australia, where she transformed part of her husband's family farm between Robe and Kingston into a flower farm. Drawing on years of gardening experience from around the world, Rebecca now grows seasonal blooms that are harvested fresh and thoughtfully arranged, celebrating the beauty of each season.
When the dahlias are in bloom, visitors can wander through the flower farm and enjoy seasonal Pick Your Own experiences. Rebecca's beautiful arrangements can also be waiting at your ORBE stay on arrival – a thoughtful local touch for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.

LC36º is pure natural spring water, sourced straight from the land and thoughtfully canned by local legends at Loophole Brewing Co.
‘The Limestone Coast is an ancient landscape, shaped by the ocean over millions of years,’ says owner Derek Hooper. ‘Its unique climate and rich limestone soils have created pristine aquifers of spring water. With 60% more rainfall than the national average, this region is a rare oasis in an otherwise dry land.’

Mike’s Beef Jerky
A local favourite, Mike’s Beef Jerky is crafted from 100% premium Australian beef and naturally wood-smoked to perfection. Available in three mouthwatering flavours, Original, Black Pepper, and Chilli, each bite delivers the perfect balance of flavour and tenderness.
What began as a passionate hobby quickly grew into a full-time venture when Mike and Cindy launched their commercial production in late 2019. With over 30 years of experience, Mike has truly mastered the art of jerky, creating a snack so addictive, you won’t want to put the bag down.

After making the sea change from Bendigo to Robe, Lisa and her husband brought their family business, Ruffell Jewellers, to town in 2018. Not long after, they expanded their creative flair by opening Robe’s very first chocolatier next door—Robetown Chocolate!
With locally-inspired names like Karatta Krunch, Long Beach Coffee Block, Little Dip Liquorice, Nora Creina Cookies and Cream, and playful takes on the iconic Obelisk, their range celebrates the spirit of Robe in every bite. Rise of Robe may be modest in size, but it’s big on flavour. Inky Blue
Step into Lisa Baker’s Robe studio, Inky Blue, where the walls are alive with sea creatures, each one brimming with personality, brought to life through every stitch, twist, and fabric swatch. A self-proclaimed ‘Maker of Marvellous Whim-Sea,’ Lisa crafts a vibrant array of wire and fabric creatures that spark the imagination of all who encounter them.
‘None of my creatures are caught; they’re all escaping, each with its own distinct personality,’ Lisa explains. ‘That’s how people connect with them.’ With a playful nod to Robe’s coastal charm, her creations are more than just art, they’re characters in their own right.
‘I want people to see these creatures not just as something on a plate, but as living beings. I’ve humanised them to help share that perspective,’ she says. ‘It’s about embracing the natural world with a lighthearted touch, not taking it too seriously.’
Lisa’s whimsical works are a true icon of Robe, inviting visitors to engage with the natural world in a fun, imaginative way.

Norfolk Rise
Norfolk Rise Wines, named for the majestic Norfolk Pines that line the boulevard through the heart of the vineyard, offers a charming escape in the Limestone Coast. Recently acquired by the McBride family in 2021, the estate has since embraced sustainability, installing 256 solar panels to power about 75% of their daily energy needs.
Gaze through the vineyards, where you’ll spot sheep grazing amidst the rows of vines, or relax in the picturesque garden, some of the seasonal produce might even make it onto your platter. Enjoy mulberry ice cream, let the kids play in the sandpit, or challenge friends to a game while soaking in the beauty of the surroundings.
‘Our family has deep ties to the Limestone Coast, generations of farming history and cherished holiday memories,’ says the McBride family. ‘When the opportunity to purchase Norfolk Rise came in 2021, it felt like a natural, yet exciting, next step. Since then, it’s been a true family affair, with two generations of the McBride family working together to bring this dream to life.’

Cape Jaffa Wines
In 1992, the Hooper family ventured into the untouched lands near Cape Jaffa on the Limestone Coast, planting vines in what was then an uncharted wine region, now known as Mount Benson. Today, Cape Jaffa Wines humbly resides in a charming stone cottage, overlooking their beloved Block 15 vineyards. While this third-generation winery may appear modest, it’s far from ordinary.
A true pioneer in biodynamic winemaking in South Australia, Cape Jaffa Winery is renowned for its innovative approach. Operating entirely off-grid, the winery continues to push boundaries. In 2017, they expanded into brewing, launching Loophole Brewing Co., which has since gained national distribution.
Making the most of their unique environment, Cape Jaffa Wines has also introduced LC36˚ a sparkling mineral water sourced from local limestone aquifers, further reflecting their commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.

Loophole Brewery
Loophole Brewing Co. first tapped its inaugural keg in Easter 2015. Fast forward to 2024, and the brewery now boasts a fully equipped brew house, led by head brewer Tom O'Reilly. Every week, they brew their core range of six beers and explore small batch creations, from IPAs and Hazy Pales to Sours and exciting collaborations with their sister winery, Cape Jaffa Wines.
Loophole is committed to sustainability, focusing on minimising waste and pollution. ‘We recycle and repurpose as much as possible, and our entire operation runs off-grid, powered by solar energy. We also partner with other eco-conscious companies that share our values.’ Owner Derek Hooper. ‘For us, protecting the environment and reducing our carbon footprint isn’t just important—it’s our mission. We aim to preserve the beauty of our planet for future generations to enjoy.’
Guests are invited to join the Loophole Brewing Co. team for an exclusive brewery tour. Visitors will get a behind-the-scenes look at the unique brewing process while sampling craft beer straight from the tank. After the tour, they can relax and enjoy a refreshing brew with one of the expert brewers.

Wangolina Wines
The Goode family established Wangolina Station in Kingston in 1923, later planting the Wangolina vineyards in 1999. They now grow a range of varietals, including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner (the only Grüner Veltliner made on the Limestone Coast!), and Malvasia Istriana.
Set against scenic pastoral views, Wangolina Wines offers contemporary wines, lush lawns, and wide open spaces. For food connoisseurs, their ‘Chip n Sip’ pairing, is a must-try.
‘Our big focus over the last few years has been growing more small parcels of rare things — and we’re now proudly the leading producer of alternate varieties on the Limestone Coast. It’s more making wine from passion, rather than following a recipe — it’s having a play around to create something more interesting, and our focus is on wines made outside our region or South Australia,’ Anita says. ‘At the end of the day, it’s about sitting around with a bunch of friends, enjoying each other’s company and sharing a wine that will complement that moment. When that comes together, it’s the best part of life and exactly what we think about putting into every bottle!’

Woodsoak Wines
Will and Sonia Legoe, known affectionately as the ‘Farmer and his Wife,’ operate their 75-year-old family property in the picturesque Robe Wine Region. In 1998, they planted a 55-acre vineyard, and in 2010, launched their Woodsoak Wines label. The cellar door offers a pet-friendly, sunlit courtyard, a cozy indoor lounge, and a vintage cocktail caravan bar. Guests can enjoy wine tastings, cocktails, and their signature samosa plate with mango chutney, making it a perfect spot to unwind and experience the unique charm of their vineyard.

Karatta Wines
Karatta Wines, a family-owned estate established by Peg and David Woods in 1997, began with their first vineyard, Tenison Vineyard. In the early 2000s, they expanded by purchasing the 12 Mile Vineyard. Today, Karatta Wine and Art Room in Robe offers a unique experience, blending wine tasting with local art exhibitions and cultural events.
